Esbatt working general meetings of the witchcraft Covener

Esbatt are the working general meetings of the Coveners. It is at these meetings that group work takes place: be it teaching, Magic, or working out interpersonal problems among the Coveners. These meetings are held weekly on a day to be determined by the Coveners, as the Coven of the Fyrie Skies, and all of Wicca, has no specific Esbatt day. It is customary to hold a small Rite to the Gods at the Esbatt meetings.

The Witches Esbat

The Witches Esbat - is a collaboration in celebrating the Full Moon Esbat between a number of Witches from several local Sydney Covens - Nuit's Veil and Babalon's Rising.



ESBATT RITE

Cast the Circle.

Invoke the Goddess.

Invoke the God.

Say the following:

O Gracious Goddess

O Wondrous God

We come together here

once again to show our love for thee

and for each other

We thank thee for the Blessings bestowed upon us

since we were last together

and ask thee to watch over us

alone and together

From whence we depart until we meet again.

Works of Magic, if needed are accomplished.

Thank the Gods for their attention.
